Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Assist physicians in invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Perform MRI and other related radiographic procedures
• Obtain and review documentation before performing exams
• Quality control exams in Cerner to ensure accurate historical reporting data
• Select proper technical factors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Responsible for thorough knowledge of Radiographic policies, procedures, equipment, and supplies
• Take an active part in patient education and promote positive patient relations
• Transfer and position patients using extreme care and patience
• Identify patients using the hospital's double identification policy
• Respond to backup calls as needed

Requirements:

• Associate of arts degree in vocational radiology technology or formal AMA-approved educational program with certification
• ARRT(R) certification
• ARRT (MR)-Preferred
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (California)
• Fluoroscopy Permit (California) within six months of hire into position
• Current CPR/BLS certification required accredited by the American Heart Association
