Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a Project Engineer, particularly within an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environment, handling projects valued between $20MM and $200MM. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing project engineering strategies for all phases of significant engineering initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Creating tailored Quality Control plans in accordance with client specifications.
  • Facilitating effective communication among project teams, sales, executive leadership, and clients regarding technical project elements.
  • Leading technical discussions and negotiations with clients and suppliers.
  • Conducting risk assessment meetings to identify potential project risks and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Grasping client requirements and participating in engineering review sessions.
  • Heading project review teams.
  • Providing technical clarifications to clients.
  • Supporting and directing factory acceptance testing (FAT) plans for large-scale, complex projects.
  • Representing the organization at industry conferences and engaging in professional associations.

Essential Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, IEC, ASCE, National Electric Code, and/or NFPA standards.
  • Experience in an EPC company and/or major EPC projects.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing settings is advantageous.
  • Understanding of LV and MV Distribution products.
  • Capability to interpret and analyze electrical specifications, technical procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and codes, including IEEE, NEC, and IEC.
  • Experience with large greenfield projects.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized individual.
  • Proficient in collaboration and communication across all departments and with clients.
