Role Summary:
As a Tax Manager at FORVIS, you will engage in collaborative efforts to strategize for the future, assisting successful businesses and their proprietors in navigating complexities, aligning tax strategies, and fostering growth.
Your role will involve providing genuine support to both colleagues and clients, maintaining regular communication to grasp their operational needs and industry dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing tax advisory services, compliance, and provisions for pass-through and C-corporation entities, with a focus on sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions.
- Building and nurturing client relationships to enhance service delivery.
- Representing FORVIS within the professional and business landscape.
- Engaging in the proposal process for potential clients.
- Contributing to technical guidance for both internal and external publications, as well as supporting internal training and development initiatives.
- Assisting in the management, development, and mentorship of professional tax staff.
We seek individuals who possess a forward-thinking mindset and have:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting tax, including technical consulting and research.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- A CPA license.
- A master’s degree in Taxation or a Juris Doctor (Law degree).
