About the Role:

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team. As a Hospice Aide, you will provide personalized care and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate the challenges of end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with ambulation and mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Prepare and serve light meals, and assist with feeding patients as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment, including light housekeeping tasks.
  • Document patient care and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • CPR certification.
