About the Job

St. Gregory Recovery Center is seeking a skilled Mental Health RN to join their team on a weekend schedule. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated nurse to make a difference in the lives of patients recovering from mental health issues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate care for patients, assessing their physical and behavioral health needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, monitor lab results, and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise self-administration of medications, maintain accountability of medication administration, and ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in unit activities, such as therapy groups and family meetings, to promote patient engagement and education.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
  • One or more years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or psychiatric settings.
  • Valid current RN license from the state or a compact state.
