Injection Molding Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Operator to join our team at Nesco Resource. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting the mold setup of Injection Mold Tooling, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supports the mold setup of Injection Mold Tooling, including material changes, mold transportation, installation, setup/startup, and cleanup of area and equipment.
- Delivers material to appropriate molding operations and processes scrap from molding.
- Engages others in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Ensures compliance with Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, good business practices, and company documented procedures.
- Operates pallet jack, forklift, and other material handling equipment.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on machinery and/or feeding systems.
- Compiles and maintains production paperwork and documentation as required for assigned shift and machines.
- Works with the Tool Room to maintain mold preventative maintenance program.
- Secondary Education (High School) required.
- Vocational technical or trade school experience preferred.
- One to two years technician experience in a similar molding operation, preferably with experience on 33 to 350-ton equipment.
- Computer literate to a degree allowing the entry and retrieval of process information contained within the Mattec system.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret typical component specifications and prints.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid math skills and measurement knowledge.
