Job Description:

A Logistics Specialist with a focus on over-the-road driving is required to transport materials to customer sites, operating vehicles weighing 26,000 lbs. or greater GVWR. This role involves utilizing a hand-held device to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS while driving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials to customer sites in a safe and timely manner">
  • Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries, including amounts and/or weights, mileage, and locations">
  • Assist customers with unloading material safely and accurately">
  • Maintain service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years old, and hold a valid Class A CDL license. One year of driving experience is required, with two years of CDL driving experience preferred. You must also be able to pass an MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels, and dust. The physical demands of the job include lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 200 pounds with assistance.

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
