AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. is looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our quality management team. In this role, you will conduct in-process evaluations to assess product standards and pinpoint opportunities for operational enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and liaise with production staff daily to ensure product excellence.
- Assist in the preparation of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reports and Control Plans under guidance.
- Carry out and document internal assessments and reviews with minimal oversight.
- Develop and refine quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Engage in regular visual assessments within the storage facility.
- Execute incoming product inspections and maintain daily communication with suppliers.
- Ensure a tidy and secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance within a machining environment.
- Familiarity with the hand tool sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints is essential.
- Skilled in the use of Calipers, Micrometers, and Optical Comparators.
- An Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Willingness to travel between various locations as needed.
