Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Device Reverse Engineer to support a critical mission of consequence within our Cyber Mission Business Unit in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop software capabilities that take into account the underlying hardware on which they run.
- Optimize algorithms and software implementations to meet requirements such as binary size, utilization, and performance.
- Perform Agile development, accurately estimating the time to complete tasks and responding to time-sensitive operational requirements.
- Understand how malware is detected by personal security products and/or network monitoring and methods to evade such detection.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing of software products, including unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests.
- Develop software implants that have network communications and the ability to persist across reboots.
- Document software designs, explain performance tradeoffs made, and decompose high-level designs into specific software development tasks.
- Develop, find flaws in, and modify complex algorithms that span multiple layers of abstraction.
- Recommend new technologies and processes to achieve assigned goals.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, System Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of software engineering / reverse engineering / vulnerability research experience.
- iOS development experience.
- Binary reverse engineering experience.
- Expertise with the C, ARM assembly programming languages.
- Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
