Job Summary

Sorenson Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator II/III to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing, organizing, and supporting our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain local area networks and all devices on the network, including PCs, printers, and IoT devices.
  • Design and secure the physical network, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Develop and implement threat prevention and mitigation strategies.
  • Respond to security threats and attacks.
  • Manage anti-virus platforms and administer servers and domain services.
  • Assist with desktop support, including implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop and implement solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least three years' experience with LAN/WAN technologies and desktop support.
  • Previous work experience in manufacturing settings is preferred but not necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Thorough understanding of networking protocols, LAN networking, and WAN networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to interpret instructions both written and oral.
  • Able to work as a team with co-workers to resolve work issues.
  • Communicates effectively in English.
