Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Piedmont Urgent Care Defunct. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, working closely with center physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management.
  • Provide patient care within the respective clinical area, complying with Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, and regulations, as well as WellStreet Care policies and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings and activities to support the operations of the urgent care center.
  • Participate in activities that enhance professional development, complete and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS, and maintain any additional specialty training/certifications as required by the area assigned.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia medical license.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
  • Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet.
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
  • Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults.
