CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at ThreePDS Inc. This individual will be responsible for loading and unloading the CNC table saw, tracking production, and recording daily production. Cutting wood and trimming excess material from workpieces are key responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading the CNC table saw
• Tracking production and recording daily production
• Cutting wood and trimming excess material from workpieces
• Verifying the conformance of machined workpieces to specifications using measuring instruments
• Assisting the Dept. Lead in training operators and providing a safe and efficient work area
• Establishing and setting controls to regulate factors such as speed, feed, depth, and angle of cut
• Evaluating and validating CNC tools and paths for each component
• Performing routine maintenance tasks on machines as required
• Inspecting components before working on them for correct specifications

Requirements:

• Previous CNC Table Saw experience
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Working understanding of computers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter and capable of working independently
• Ability and willingness to train others
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs
• MUST have reliable transportation

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Requirements:

• Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office and drawing/model viewer
• Completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Work overtime as required

Beneficial Skills:

• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of 3-D planes
