We are seeking a Ground Hand to join our construction team at Southeast Utilities of Georgia, a Congruex company. This is an entry-level position in the line of progression for Telecommunications Lineman.
Job Responsibilities- Assist linemen in loading, unloading, and preparing tools, supplies, and equipment for each job site.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as cleaning trucks, digging ditches, tamping, cutting brush, and moving materials.
- Ensure safe operations and assist with traffic control.
- Drive a company-provided vehicle from the yard to the job site and back.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 40-90 pounds.
- Physical stamina to stand or walk for long periods.
- A positive attitude and openness to learning new skills.
The estimated annual salary for this role is around $45,000-$55,000, depending on skills and experience.
