Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including 401k with profit sharing, company-paid life insurance, paid holidays, generous paid time off, continuing education reimbursement, uniform allowance, and free parking.

Job Description

As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in patient care, contributing to both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing fluoroscopic C-Arm procedures as directed by physician
  • Serving as a resource in the radiation safety principle As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) and implementing measures to limit patient, physician, and staff exposure to radiation
  • Ensuring patient documentation is initiated in the fluoroscopic system and completion of all documentation related to EMR complying with HIPAA standards
  • Monitoring and promoting safety, infection control, positive customer relations, and patient comfort in procedure area
  • Assisting in all aspects of procedural area, including managing reprocessable supplies and sterilizer quality assurance, ordering supplies and medications, maintaining a clean work environment, reporting any equipment repairs to manager, and transferring patients
  • Monitoring order and return Dosimetry badges in accordance with cycle, ensuring review and posting of Occupational Radiation Exposure Reports, and complying with OSHA guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current ARRT certification
  • Current licensure by the State of Ohio
  • Associate Degree of Radiologic Technology from an accredited School of Radiology
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
