Job Opportunity

Salem Gymnastics & Swim is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for clients of various ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach individual and group swim lessons, focusing on water safety and technique.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse students.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in swim instruction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in swim instruction, lifeguarding, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Knowledge of water safety procedures and emergency response techniques.
  • Physical ability to perform duties in a fast-paced aquatic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR.
  • Experience working with children and adults with special needs.
  • Knowledge of swim lesson planning and curriculum development.
