Position Overview

The Surgical Technologist role involves assisting in various surgical procedures while on travel assignments. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications and experience to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • AHA BLS certification - must be current
  • NBSTSA certification - required to be in hand
Experience Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of 18 months of permanent CST experience prior to engaging in travel assignments.

Shift Information

Shift Times:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

The Surgical Technologist will be expected to:

  • Assist in a variety of surgical specialties including general orthopedics, plastics, vascular, neurosurgery, and robotic surgeries.
  • Complete orientation hours (32-40 hours) compensated at 50% of the base hourly rate.
Additional Requirements

All candidates must present a government-issued photo ID during assignments. Compliance with the following is mandatory:

  • Fit mask required within 12 months of the start date and updated annually.
  • Physical examination must be completed within one year of the start date.
