Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all operational procedures established by the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Uphold food and beverage safety standards in line with hotel, Shaner, and Franchise guidelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication with the General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and fellow staff members.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Service Duties

Responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and delivering food to guest tables according to hotel standards, ensuring courteous and efficient service. The role also involves processing payments and assisting in the upkeep of the restaurant area and its equipment.

Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role with public interaction.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Completion of ServSafe and/or food safety training.
  • Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) is beneficial.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
