Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Dekalb, Illinois. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a stand-up forklift to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse
  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
  • Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, and staging of products
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems
  • Meet performance measurement guidelines and maintain a high level of accuracy
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
