About the Role:

As a Room Attendant at Hancock Hotel, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will make a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and style hotel rooms and public areas to brand standards, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Refresh and replenish guest rooms with amenities, supplies, and linens, adhering to brand standards.
  • Take a proactive approach to prevent guest challenges by inspecting work, identifying and communicating maintenance concerns, and replacing items when necessary.
  • Engage and build rapport with guests to identify needs and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Take ownership to resolve guest challenges, working collaboratively with the hotel's Guest Services team and leadership.
  • Maintain professionalism consistent with hotel brand and company expectations.
  • Know and communicate hotel emergency procedures, informing and assisting guests in emergencies.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of housekeeping experience, preferably in hotels.
  • High School diploma or equivalency education certificate required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • 8+ hours per day; stand and walk frequently throughout the workday.
  • Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently throughout the workday.
