As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will be part of this diverse and inclusive workforce, providing surveillance of patient cardiac rhythm status and notifying physicians and/or registered nurses of any changes in the basic electrocardiographic pattern.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Monitor multiple patients' continuous ECG, including measurement of PR interval, QRS duration, QT interval, heart rate, and rhythm.
* Obtain relevant patient background information and accurately document in files.
* Check inventory of supplies to ensure necessary stock is available.
* Utilize time and resources effectively to promote quality and cost outcomes.
* Demonstrate accountability for professional growth and job performance by seeking opportunities to enhance job skills and knowledge.
**Requirements:**
* High School Diploma
* EKG certification or EKG class completed
* 1-2 years of previous job-related experience (preferred)
