Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions and regimes, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Effectively manage rapidly changing situations, prioritizing patient needs and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Participate in clinical decision-making, utilizing evidence-based practice and professional judgment.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, individual care needs, and wellness strategies.
- Delegate and monitor care rendered by other members of the nursing department and healthcare team.
- Demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles in practice.
- Participate in orientation, education, and development of healthcare team members.
- Identify and participate in performance improvement activities, maintaining professional and departmental level competencies.
To be considered for this role, you must have a valid NJ RN License and demonstrate knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers are essential.
