The role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, and troubleshooting SharePoint solutions. The individual will serve as a liaison between the customer site personnel and leadership, gathering requirements and creating tailored solutions. The candidate will actively seek opportunities for business process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HQ SpOC staff with EIS hosted SharePoint sites, architecting and developing advanced solutions on the SharePoint platform that exceed out-of-the-box capabilities, utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Engage with clients to analyze and document their business needs, developing the most effective solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Gather customer specifications and create solutions for HQ SpOC EIS platforms to fulfill their needs.
  • Ensure compliance with SharePoint governance by monitoring sites for adherence to government regulations, including Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Section 508 standards.
  • Assist HQ SpOC and staff in managing their SIPRNet on-premise and NIPRNet SharePoint data, workflows, and business processes.
  • Provide training on SharePoint and related tools as necessary.
  • Design, develop, and support SharePoint solutions and workflows using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom lists, leveraging JSON.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment.
  • Assist clients in troubleshooting custom sites, workflows, and applications, providing ongoing support for developed solutions.
  • Present various solution options to clients for review, aiming to enhance SharePoint functionality and improve user efficiency.
  • Utilize PowerShell to interact with SharePoint as needed for data management and reorganization.
  • Communicate with end-users and team members regarding design details and project progress.
  • Test customizations on existing and new sites, troubleshooting user functionality and specific issues.
  • Document technical aspects of the current system.
  • Create documentation for solutions, including technical drawings, diagrams, reference guides, and user manuals.
  • Diagnose and resolve post-deployment issues as required.
  • Enhance existing solutions as necessary for future releases.
  • Provide technical insights to the CAB regarding system changes and updates.
  • Thoroughly review potential impacts of change requests to minimize disruptions.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to align processes with overall business strategies within a military headquarters context.
  • Experience with SharePoint APIs (C#, REST, etc.), JavaScript, JQuery, and PowerShell for SharePoint.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate, for developing advanced custom solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in software development, web design, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing custom solutions in both SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-premise.
  • ITIL Version 3 or 4 - Foundation Certification (preferred); CMMI Associate (preferred).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance preferred.
