Job Details

Solomon Page is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer for a travel position in Rochester, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures. You will work closely with our team to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures
  • Communicate with patients to explain exams and answer questions
  • Document patients' medical history and technologist notes as it relates to results
  • Manage equipment and report malfunctions to supervisors

Requirements:

  • Certification from an accredited program
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension
  • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
