Anduril Industries Seeks a Security Expert

Anduril, an American defense technology company specializing in advanced autonomous systems, is looking for a skilled security engineer to join its Insider Threat and Counterintelligence team. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge security architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate detection and response workflows using threat intelligence data and internal logging sources.
  • Implement log aggregation pipelines for Anduril's infrastructure and applications.
  • Analyze large complex datasets to develop rules for detecting and deterring risk.
  • Design enterprise-wide security solutions across various host operating systems.
  • Participate in and lead complex incident response events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in security engineering.
  • Knowledge of modern adversary tradecraft and mitigating controls.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more general-purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust) and familiarity with infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK).
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects.
  • Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

Priorities:

  • Evaluate and prioritize business risks in real-time.
  • Experience with Insider Threat and Counter Intel monitoring and forecasting.
  • Utilize ML/AI to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage high-volume log ingestion and storage pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and tooling.
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000—$225,000 USD per year, including competitive equity grants and top-tier benefits for full-time employees.
