Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized nursing care to students with disabilities, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing chronic health conditions.
- Assist with developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Educate students, staff, and families about health issues and promote wellness initiatives within the school community.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain accurate health records.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
- Current unrestricted LPN license from the State of Missouri.
- Two (2) years of clinical LPN experience.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to understand instructions furnished in written and oral forms of English.
- Proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Bachelors' degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Five (5) years of clinical LPN experience.
- Two (2) years of school nurse experience.
- Board certification in designated nurse specialty.
Routinely performed in an interior clinic / office environment. May involve sitting for prolonged periods of time. May require standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
