Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Stewart & Tate. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy equipment used in road construction, maintenance, and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, skid-steer loaders, dozers, and graders.
  • Follow company and OSHA safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices.
  • Train new employees on maintenance and repair duties as required.
Requirements
  • Backhoe operation experience.
  • Excavator operation experience.
  • Skid-steer loader operation experience.
  • Dozer operation experience.
  • Grader operation experience.
  • Paving experience.
