Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Administer personnel, including Direct Support Professionals, Home Coordinators, and family-based providers.
- Determine staffing needs and implement policies and procedures to maintain staff, assign coverage, and minimize overtime hours.
- Conduct time reviews and approve payroll corrections.
- Supervise the quality control program, visiting supported living homes and family-based providers to monitor effectiveness and compliance.
- Assist in crisis situations to prevent escalation.
- Prevent client abuse by adhering to policies and procedures, attending training, and reporting suspicious behavior.
- Provide monthly oversight of individuals' finances and report any signs of misappropriation or exploitation.
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or a related field.
- Preferred: 1 year of management experience in a multi-site environment and exposure to developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Extensive mental activities, including the ability to use educated and intuitive judgment, advise, counsel, influence, debate, negotiate, organize, plan, and synthesize concepts.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and make wise decisions under stressful circumstances.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills to improve employee development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
