Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Service Execution: Assist with the execution of daily meal services for all residents and guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Service Concern Resolution: Receive and resolve dining room service concerns immediately in conjunction with the Food Service Manager, Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef, or the Director of Dining Services.
  • Team Training and Development: Ensure servers are trained properly to achieve maximum productivity and deliver high standards of service.
  • Dining Room Maintenance: Plan daily dining room set-up, sections, service, and side-work based on resident meal counts, and follow up to ensure all tasks have been completed to maintain a like-new appearance.
  • Team Management: Ensure team members attend service lineup and department in-service meetings, and assist with ensuring a consistent cleaning and maintenance schedule is completed.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure that local and state laws, policies, and procedures are consistently followed, and demonstrate self-motivation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
