- Assist residents with daily activities, such as escorting to the dining room, beauty shop, and activities.
- Take vital signs and monitor residents' status, reporting any changes to the supervisor.
- Respond to call lights and assist residents with their needs.
- Assist with medication compliance and maintain accurate records of observations and services rendered.
- CNA certification and good assessment skills.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively with residents, family, and staff, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to transfer residents weighing 50 pounds or more using a transfer belt, mechanical lift, or with the assistance of others.
