About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Diagnostic Support Specialist to join our team at IDEXX. As a Field Support Representative, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and training to veterinarians and their staff on our innovative diagnostic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical support and training to customers on our diagnostic products, including IDEXX Analyzers (ProCyte, Catalyst One, SediVue)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Representatives and Customer Support to develop strategies for customer account management
  • Travel extensively to customer sites, providing on-site technical support and training as needed
  • Manage and prioritize work in a dynamic environment, making quality and timely decisions
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years veterinary clinic experience with a training and/or leadership background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment, making quality and timely decisions
  • Effective listening skills, with the ability to adapt approach and demeanor to different situations
  • Comfortable learning and using technology, including computers, tablets, and smartphones

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Regularly required to stand and sit for extended periods, extend and reach with hands and arms, and use hands and fingers to handle, squeeze, twist, and manipulate objects, controls, and tools
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 60 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
