Metal Finishing Specialist

Snelling - Birmingham is seeking skilled Metal Finishing Specialists to join our workforce. The ideal candidates will utilize a variety of painting methods, including but not limited to powder coating and wet paint spraying, specifically on metal components.

• Apply finishing coats according to technical drawings and customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain safe work environments while operating painting machinery.
• Ensure efficient production and coating of all components, aligning with the company’s quality standards and customer delivery timelines.
• Handle the loading and unloading of parts onto appropriate fixtures.
• Conduct inspections of paint applications and materials, making necessary adjustments to colors and rectifying any imperfections.

• 1-2 years of experience in a painting role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Experience with epoxy paint is advantageous; familiarity with epoxy and zinc coatings is even more beneficial.
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 100 pounds.

This position requires night shifts, with overtime as needed. Compensation will be based on experience, with opportunities for pay increases and comprehensive benefits.
