We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Medical Oncology/Hematology team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. This is a full-time, day shift position with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis and management of various health problems
- Conduct thorough health histories and physical examinations
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and order laboratory tests and procedures as needed
- Evaluate patients for further healthcare needs and provide education to patients and families
- Document all care and education provided in the medical record
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Illinois
- Board certification in Medical Oncology/Hematology
- Experience working in an outpatient setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
