Troy Industrial Solutions is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team in a fabrication and repair specialist role. As a key member of our electro-mechanical repair shop, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing large and small components to meet customer requirements.

• Operate manual mills, lathes, VTL, Bridgeport, and other equipment to fabricate and repair components.
• Proficiency in manual equipment operation, reading micrometers, and utilizing digital readouts is essential.
• Reverse engineer old or obsolete parts and recreate them to precise specifications and materials.
• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and other technical documents to ensure accurate fabrication and repair.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Review job orders and provide estimates for time required for repair or fabrication.
• Collaborate with CNC machining team members and have the opportunity to learn CNC machining techniques.

• Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and more.
• Ability to produce features on parts to tolerances of +/- 0.001 inches.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and customer service.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Welding experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual machining equipment operation.
• Two-year degree from a technical school or certificate from an industrial program is preferred.
• One to three years of actual work experience in a manufacturing environment.
