Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Tech Trainee to join our team at Strong Memorial Hospital. As a Radiologic Tech Trainee, you will assist technologists in preparing rooms and patients for exams, setting up equipment, and positioning patients. You will also observe technologists as they determine proper exposure factors and produce high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technologists in preparing rooms and patients for exams
  • Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Observe technologists as they determine proper exposure factors and produce high-quality images
  • Maintain accurate patient record keeping by properly identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly
  • Complete and bill for studies accurately and in a timely fashion
Requirements
  • Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology within 3 months of hire
  • Temporary NYS Radiologic Technologist license within 3 months of hire
  • Proof of registry for ARRT certification within 3 months of hire
  • Successful completion of ARRT certification within 6 months of hire
What We Offer
