About the Role

The Surgical Technologist (ST) plays a vital role in the surgical team, responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience for patients.

As a member of the surgical team, the ST works closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This includes assembling and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, as well as assisting with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
  • Assemble and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
  • Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
