Modern Hydrogen is seeking a highly skilled Associate Technician to join our team in Woodinville, WA. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining state-of-the-art mechanical and chemical processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain mechanical and chemical processing equipment per standard work instructions.
- Test Stand Assembly and Optimization: Assemble and optimize test stands and other equipment as per drawings.
- Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and implement improvements to work instructions and processes.
- Project Support: Support a variety of projects in a fast-paced, dynamic research environment.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and champion continuous improvement in these areas.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel to project sites throughout the United States may be required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, trade school certificate preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of industry experience in oil and gas, chemical processing, machinery maintenance, or a similar field.
- Skills: Ability to follow basic written instructions and technical drawings/schematics, demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to wear personal protective equipment.
- Qualifications: Associate degree in an engineering or related discipline, 5+ years of industry experience, experience maintaining and operating chemical processing equipment, and ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Competitive Pay: $30.00/hour.
