POSITION SUMMARY:
Sugarbush Resort is in search of experienced Level 3 Lift Maintenance Technicians to enhance our Mountain Operations team.
Lift Maintenance Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our lift systems by overseeing, maintaining, and repairing lift equipment in compliance with all relevant regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical skill set and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a larger team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and repair all types of lift equipment, including conveyors and high-speed detachable quads.
- During the winter season, perform regularly scheduled maintenance, pre-operational checks, mid-day inspections, weekly and monthly evaluations, and respond to lift malfunctions.
- In the summer, conduct thorough inspections of all lift components, engage in tower work, and perform grip and chair maintenance.
- Work on hydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, and engines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of mechanical or electrical experience.
- Experience with detachable lifts is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures is essential.
- Must be capable of climbing and working at significant heights and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
