Job Overview

Hourly Pay Rate:

Stratas Foods is seeking skilled Forklift Operators with a strong background in operating both sit-down electric and propane forklifts. Candidates must possess the capability to efficiently handle, maneuver, and transport pallets of products, equipment, or materials.

This role prioritizes safety and adherence to established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the forklift by moving levers and pressing pedals to control the lifting apparatus.
  • Position forks beneath loaded pallets, skids, boxes, or materials and transport them to designated locations.
  • Unload and stack materials by adjusting the lifting devices as necessary.
  • Adhere to GMP and safety protocols at all times.
  • Fulfill customer orders as required.
  • Conduct inventory checks on the work floor and supply necessary materials to team members.
  • Inspect trailers before loading and unloading products, documenting findings appropriately.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.
  • Navigate into bays to manage pallets of products stacked up to four tiers high.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn additional tasks in Shipping, Receiving, Palletizing, and Shuttling.
