Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team at Kennestone Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Ophthalmology Specialist to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of adult patients with varying levels of complexity, including those requiring colonoscopy and EGD procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and consultative care to adult patients in the inpatient setting
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDS
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid medical license in Georgia
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology
  • Experience working in an inpatient setting, preferably with adults
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
