We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our complex software development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and with successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure project success.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, including Agile teams, and ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, and proactively mitigate risks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports to track progress and team productivity.
  • Mentor and coach Agile Project Managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including architecture, legal, risk, security, compliance, delivery, and vendor management, to ensure effective adherence to SDLC governance.
  • Develop and maintain the requirements backlog, ensuring that security, infrastructure, and operational requirements are represented, prioritized, and accepted by the applicable team(s).
  • Drive project execution planning to ensure development teams are set for success in their commitments.
  • Proactively remove impediments for the project team to ensure continuous flow of work and maintain an active risk and issue log to report on concerns.
  • Monitor and communicate project health, and manage project interdependencies by defining critical path project & program level milestones; effectively communicating to all stakeholders.
  • Perform retrospectives, drive improvements, and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of Agile, Scrum, project management, or related experience with a software development team that applied Scrum principles, practices, and theories.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Experience in managing technology projects and software development processes with a background in the data processing environment, application systems, and communication systems.
  • Proven ability to lead efficient Agile teams and achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to build professional relationships within Project Management function and cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge and understanding of business issues, priorities, goals, and strategy.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results.
  • Requires applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the Scrum team.
  • Requires deep understanding of patterns and techniques in managing Sprint ceremonies, handling of bugs/defects, and variations of leading productive teams.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of Agile tools (e.g. JIRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely, and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or related certifications.
  • Agile Certifications.
