Job Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator RN will be responsible for coordinating patient-focused teams in providing direct and collaborative healthcare in various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will utilize all components of the nursing process to provide care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, as well as recognition of patient rights.

This role requires the ability to identify immediate and long-range plans for patient care, including both the patient and family in the plan. The coordinator will also set priorities for patients' needs, making decisions that reflect sound judgment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' clinical status and assess for significant change
  • Communicate clearly with patients, family members, physicians, and team members to ensure patient needs are met
  • Safely administer medication on time and in accordance with the hospital's policies
  • Perform venipuncture and start intravenous lines safely

The ideal candidate will possess an active RN license, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting and 1 year of experience in coronary care practice is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $51,119 - $70,288 per hour, depending on education and years of experience, plus shift differentials. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
