Located on the picturesque shores of Lake Lanier, Lanier Islands Resort spans 1200 acres and offers a unique resort experience in Georgia. Our facility includes 282 guest rooms, versatile meeting spaces, a golf course, diverse dining options, nature trails, and numerous attractions. As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by creating memorable experiences. You will maintain guest accommodations to established cleanliness standards, prepare your service carts for daily tasks, and report any issues or damages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare service carts according to health department standards
  • Participate in training to understand established policies and procedures
  • Perform essential housekeeping tasks such as changing linens, arranging towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and managing waste efficiently
  • Return any lost guest items found during service
  • Report any instances of property damage
  • Collaborate with team members or work independently to meet objectives
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas
  • Ensure all guest rooms are maintained according to standards
  • Safeguard and care for equipment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Strong time management abilities
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
  • Physical capability to navigate tight spaces and handle equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to lift and carry loads of at least 25 lbs
