About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Lori's Gifts. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience for our diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Customers: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, actively listen to their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Merchandise and Inventory Management: Ensure that inventory levels are stocked on the sales floor and communicate needs to management for ordering. Adhere to merchandising standards and market merchandise by implementing advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
  • Operational Procedures: Execute daily operational procedures with efficiency, diligence, and integrity, including handling cash and credit card transactions utilizing a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate, execute, and implement Lori's Gifts policies and procedures. Work closely with management to increase sales and maintain merchandising standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Actively pursuing or obtained a High School diploma or GED. One year of work experience preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with customers, management, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Reliable transportation or ability to use public transportation to get to work on time.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
