SharePoint Communications Specialist

Job Summary:
This Communications Specialist role is responsible for managing and executing various communication activities to promote an organization's messages and enhance its public image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the SharePoint sites for the CBP Mission Support Facilities (MSF) Program Management Office, including posting, updating, and maintaining the sites and their permissions.
- Resolve any SharePoint issues and troubleshoot any ongoing problems with the sites.
- Develop all necessary InfoPath forms to support SharePoint Interface.
- Write, review, and edit any agency-wide communication.
- Manage, as required, the Daily Deliverables and taskers, including notifying the responsible parties of the request and coordinating/submitting responses.
- Administer WebTELE (directory) information for MSF PMO.
- Manage the update process for MSF PMO Position Descriptions.
- Manage and update the MSF PMO organizational charts.
- Serve as point-of-contact for compiling and submitting monthly PowerPoint slide updates for routine senior leadership meetings.
- Support the data management and use of the TRIRIGA Real Property Information Management System.
- Develop communication briefings, flyers, information papers, PowerPoint presentations, and form communication memorandums.
- Develop and manage the weekly and monthly newsletter.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- BA Degree in communication, design, or related field and 5 years of related experience supporting Federal Agencies.
- Knowledge of SharePoint use and management.
- Proficient in the use of Adobe and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication analysis, and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
