Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems equipment, including 480V electrical power distribution, instrumentation, motor controls, VFD's, Servo's, I/O devices/modules, PLC's, HMI's, and control networks.
- Identify and resolve electrical system issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
- Control System Troubleshooting
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues, including PLC's, HMI's, and VFD/servo systems.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to prevent future system failures.
- Training and Support
- Provide training and support to technicians on the use of plant floor automation systems, including electrical schematics, programming software, meters, and other electrical test equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to ensure technicians have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with operations and maintenance team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration on electrical system maintenance and control system troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members to ensure a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical system maintenance and control system troubleshooting.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Working knowledge of RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View Studio ME, and Panelbuilder.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
