Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Drill Rig Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drilling and tooling, operating company equipment, and leading a crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate foundation type drill rigs to drill holes ranging in size from 2" to 9' in diameter and up to 40'+ in depth.
  • Maintain equipment and be mechanically inclined with an understanding of hydraulics.
  • Complete drilling logs and equipment inspection reports.
  • Forecasting equipment, tooling, and material needs while helping with procurement of small items when needed.
  • Ability to travel 6 weeks at a time followed by a 7-10 day break.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in drilling hard rock.
  • Familiarity with Soilmec or Similar Foundation Drill Rigs.
  • Team leadership experience for at least 1 year.
  • Steel casings and/or drilling mud in poor soil conditions experience for at least 1 year.
