Job Description

At Johnson Controls, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Professional to join our team. The primary function of this position is to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspections.

The ideal candidate will have one to three years of sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment. Excellent communication skills, the ability to persuade and close sales, and the ability to handle a variety of situations encountered during the sales process are essential. We are looking for someone who is disciplined to work with limited supervision and has the ability to establish a positive ongoing relationship with customers.

In this role, you will determine customer needs and develop sales strategies to meet those objectives. You will also close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives and develop an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designed sales plan. Conducting building surveys to support the development of estimates and maintaining correct and complete records of all sales-related activities are also key responsibilities.
