Mathematics Teacher Opportunity at Immaculata-La Salle High School

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Immaculata-La Salle High School in Miami. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students become mathematically literate and will have a strong ability to explain mathematical concepts in different ways.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach all levels of high school mathematics, including Algebra I, Geometry, and Pre Calculus
  • Demonstrate familiarity with iPad applications and a willingness to work with technology
  • Use varied teaching methodologies and have the ability to explain mathematical concepts in different ways
  • Demonstrate a desire to help form high school students towards a holistic formation of personhood
Qualifications:
  • Years of Experience: at least 1 year preferred
  • FDOE Certification in Mathematics 6-12 preferred; willingness to complete certification requirements within three years of employment
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good computer literacy and ability to navigate online applications
  • Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred
