The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in web design and development, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. You will work closely with our web development team to identify user requirements, design web page layouts, and ensure the optimal look, feel, and usability of our websites.

In this role, you will also participate in establishing policies and procedures for the university on web-related issues and processes, ensuring compliance with university web policies when necessary. Additionally, you will maintain an understanding of current and emerging web technologies and trends, ensuring our digital presence remains accessible and compliant with state and federal laws.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the University Website Manager and web development team to identify user requirements and design web page layouts.
  • Ensuring the optimal look, feel, and usability of our websites by planning and reviewing the navigational user interface design and information site architecture.
  • Participating in the establishment of policies and procedures for the university on web-related issues and processes.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
