Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Plant Security Officer. This position offers a starting pay of $17.60 per hour, with scheduled pay increases based on hours worked. Additional incentives are available for attendance and performance, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Shift Differentials:
- Second Shift: $0.35/hour
- Third Shift: $0.60/hour
- Weekly attendance bonus: $0.65/hour for perfect attendance
- Monthly bonus based on performance metrics
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and radio communications;
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as necessary;
- Monitor traffic flow within the facility;
- Conduct investigations and document incidents, injuries, and other relevant occurrences;
- Perform regular patrols of the entire plant, including parking areas and buildings;
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and fire departments when required;
- Oversee alarm systems and respond to alerts;
- Collaborate effectively with various departments and personnel;
- Provide safety training for contractors;
- Manage the check-in and check-out process for deliveries;
- Escort visitors and deliveries to designated areas;
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Preferred experience in security or fire protection (minimum one year);
- 40-Hour (IDPH) State Certified First Responder training will be provided if needed;
- Must possess a proactive attitude and strong goal orientation.
